Directions to the site: Get off the ferry and follow the main road. At the T intersection after a short steep hill where the right hand road goes down to Roesland National Park, the main road turns left. Turn left, and again, follow the main road. You will come to a second T intersection at the Community hall. The main road turns right. Turn right here, and again, follow the main road. You will pass the Driftwood Centre (after some twists and turns) where there is a gas station, cafes, and shops. Keep going past the Centre and (after more twists and turns) you will come to another T intersection. The left turn is Canal Road, which leads to the health clinic and to South Pender Island. The main road swings to the right and uphill. Follow the main road and you will soon come to a 90 degree turn to the right at the bottom of a sharp hill. Take the left road, which is in very poor shape, and in a few hundred yards you will arrive at Medicine Beach. If you accidentally turn right, there is a shopping mall there where you can turn around. There is a coffee shop there with organic coffee, etc.
