We love low tide days!
We spent time this past weekend in Coles Bay, which is near Sidney on the Saanich Peninsula, within the territory of the Pauquachin First Nations, mapping and monitoring eelgrass on the low tides.
Carolyn, Elise, Jamie, Maria and Alison made up the crew, with special appearances made by sea stars, newly hatched crabs and Lewis’ moon snails.
