Join Our Dynamic Board!
SeaChange Marine Conservation Society is celebrating it’s 20thanniversary in 2018! For two decades we have carried out our mission to protect and conserve marine environments within the Salish Sea through education, restoration and conservation initiatives in partnership with coastal communities.
We are looking for one or two people to fill the position(s) of volunteer Board Treasurer/Secretary. This role will have a large amount of support from Staff. The position would start at our AGM in November, 2018.
The Treasurer is responsible for: receiving and banking monies, keeping accounting records, preparing the Society’s financial statements and filing taxes.
The Secretary is responsible for: issuing notices of meetings, taking minutes at meetings, keeping the records of the Society, conducting Board correspondence and filing the annual report of the Society.
