6:00pm Moderator – Will allow a few minutes for everyone to join the meeting. Will go over the protocol and processes regarding microphone use and audience questions
6:05pm MP Alistair MacGregor – Welcome, Indigenous acknowledgement, intro, and explanation of the purpose and process of the town hall
6:15pm Chief Joan Brown – speak to how First Nations tribes have been affected by the anchorages and the lack of consultation from Transport Canada
6:25pm Peter Luckham – speak to the issue from a local government perspective and discuss his personal involvement in activism efforts
6:35pm Nikki Wright – speak about the delicate ecosystems in the Southern Strait of Georgia and how these vessels affect them
6:45pm Chris Straw – speak to the negative effects that the freighter anchorages have had on his community and the actions that the Ship Watch Alliance have taken to address the issue
